Fixed brake

The fixed brake does not move with the caster wheel like traditional brake systems. This means that the brake always extends and can be used regardless of the swivel position. This makes the brake suitable for use in compact spaces due to the shorter swing-out distance. The brake is adjustable and locks both the wheel and the fork without play.

Shock and impact resistant

The reinforced swivel fork combined with a polyamide wheel is suitable for intensive use. These heavy-duty swivel castors with fixed brake are ideal for heavily loaded transport carts that may be subject to shock loads and side impacts. The swivel fork has a double hardened ball race, firmly riveted at several points, which prevents play.

Wear-resistant and long lifespan

The polyamide wheel performs well on flat concrete floors with little dirt. Polyurethane is better suited for dirty or rough surfaces. Polyamide has low rolling resistance on flat, clean floors, but can cause more vibration and noise on rough surfaces. Polyamide is very wear-resistant and impact-resistant. The reinforced swivel is well lubricated and can be re-lubricated via the grease nipple. The thickened 14 mm swivel is almost completely sealed and has a red dust ring as extra protection against dust and dirt.

Low rolling resistance

The hardness and slight convexity of the polyamide wheel means there is little contact surface with the ground, resulting in minimal friction. This ensures low rolling resistance and long rolling continuity. The wheels have a precision ball bearing (6204 ZZ) on both sides and are mounted without tension.
