Fixed brake

Unlike traditional braking systems, the fixed brake does not move with the caster wheel. This means that the brake always sticks out and is immediately usable, regardless of the position of the wheel. Because the braking mechanism does not rotate, the swing-out distance is shorter, but the brake always extends 88 mm. The brake is adjustable and blocks both the wheel and the fork without any play.

Ergonomically designed

This wheel reduces friction with the surface by 30% compared to other polyurethane or rubber types. To achieve this, the wheel has been developed with properties that ensure heavy loads can be moved easily.

• Elastic polyurethane: the material flexes when moved, generating extra energy for a longer rolling duration.
• Bulged tread: Due to the limited contact with the surface, less force is needed to make the wheels roll and turn.

Resistant to impact and heavy loads

The reinforced 14 mm thick swivel fork, combined with the ergonomic polyurethane tire, is designed for intensive use of heavy-duty casters. These wheels are ideal for heavily loaded transport carts that have to deal with vibrations and lateral forces. The double hardened ball race and the swing fork firmly riveted at multiple points ensure a play-free use.

Durable and wear-resistant

The polyurethane tire is highly resistant to rough surfaces such as concrete floors with steel shavings, as well as to dust, oil and other contaminants. The elastic ergo polyurethane allows the wheels to roll smoothly over uneven surfaces. The reinforced swivel ring is well lubricated and easy to re-lubricate via the grease nipple. The thickened swivel ring is almost completely sealed and is further protected against dirt by a red dust ring.
