This wheel has 30% less friction with the surface compared to other traditional polyurethane or rubber types. To achieve this, the wheel has been designed with the following properties to move heavy loads effortlessly.

• Elastic polyurethane: When in motion, the polyurethane flexes, creating extra energy to extend the rolling duration.
• Bulged tread: Contact with the surface is minimized, so that the wheels require less force to get moving when rolling and pivoting.

Resistant to shocks and impacts

The reinforced swivel fork together with the thick, ergonomic polyurethane tire has been specially developed for the intensive use of heavy-duty swivel casters. These wheels are very suitable for transport carts that are heavily loaded and exposed to vibrations and lateral forces. Thanks to the double, hardened ball race and the swivel fork that is firmly riveted at multiple points, there is no play during use.

Wear-resistant with a long lifespan

The polyurethane tire is resistant to rough surfaces such as concrete floors with steel shavings, as well as to dust, oil and other contaminants. The elastic ergo polyurethane allows the wheels to roll smoothly over uneven surfaces. The reinforced swivel ring is well lubricated and can easily be re-lubricated via the grease nipple. The thickened swivel ring is almost completely sealed and is further protected against dust and dirt by a red dust ring.

Optional: directional lock

These ergonomic swivel casters can be optionally equipped with a directional lock. This allows the swivel function to be blocked, so that the wheels move in one direction, like a fixed caster. The directional lock is mounted under the top plate and can be operated with the foot. When the immobilizer is engaged and the cart is moved, the mechanism automatically clicks into place, regardless of the position of the swivel fork.
