Forward brake

Unlike conventional swivel castors, the yellow zinc-plated brake is located on the opposite side of the swivel fork. When the application moves forward, the brake moves forward with it. This means that the transport trolley has no protruding brake on the push side, minimizing the risk of injury to the shin. The brake is adjustable and locks the wheel and fork simultaneously without play.

Optional: Directional lock

The swivel castors with forward brakes can be equipped with a direction lock. This can be ordered as an option if you want to be able to lock the swivel function and change it to one direction, similar to a fixed castor. The direction lock is mounted under the top plate and can be operated with the foot. When the directional lock is pressed and the application is moved, the mechanism automatically locks, regardless of the position of the swivel fork.
