Heavy-duty nylon swivel castor with brake 300 mm - 2000 kg

The 300 mm polyamide swivel castor with brake is characterized by an extremely solid steel welded fork, combined with a robust polyamide wheel. These steel welded swivel castors are particularly suitable in situations with an increased risk of collisions with forklift trucks or in very demanding conditions where minimal failure and a long lifespan are crucial. The swivel fork is equipped with a forward brake that simultaneously blocks both the swivel and the wheel. This brake ensures that the braking direction always corresponds with the direction in which the application is being moved.

The steel welded swivel fork consists of an 8 mm mounting plate, in which an axial pivot bearing in combination with a tapered roller bearing functions as a swivel head. The underside of the swivel head is firmly bolted to the mounting plate and additionally secured with a spot weld. The turntable is covered and remains lubricated throughout its entire lifespan, but can be re-lubricated if necessary. Thanks to the welded gaff legs on the turntable, the swivel castor is highly resistant to lateral shocks. In addition, the swivel forks are yellow passivated, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance.

The precision injection-molded polyamide wheel has no air bubbles or uneven material distribution, giving the wheel a high load capacity combined with considerable impact and shock resistance. The wheels for heavy transportation are equipped with double precision ball bearings, which give them low rolling resistance on flat surfaces and high rolling continuity.
