The ISO Container swivel castor is specifically designed to enable easy movement of ISO containers, even under heavy loads. To secure the twist-lock mechanism, the twist handle must be pressed in, causing the mechanism to clamp onto the corner castings of the connection. The swivel castor has a diameter of 150 mm and a width of 73 mm, which ensures a low overall height in combination with a high load capacity. The wheels are equipped with a yellow polyurethane tire that is vulcanized onto cast iron rims that are painted black. The tires have a hardness of approx. 95 shore A, which makes the wheel slightly cushioned and suitable for uneven surfaces. The wheel is locked by the brake mechanism and has double 6205 2RS ball bearings for smooth and tension-free operation. The swivel castor has a dynamic load capacity of 1800 kg.

The wheel's swivel head has a four-position directional lock, which allows the swivel head to be locked at every 90 degrees. This ensures stability and precise maneuverability. In addition, the fork is hot-dip galvanized, protecting it from light weather conditions. The swivel ring is sealed to keep out dirt. The swivel ring consists of an axial roller bearing and a tapered roller bearing, allowing smooth rotation even under very heavy loads. The fork section and mounting plate are securely fastened with bolts and spot welds, ensuring there is no play in the fork head. The steel fork has a thickness of 10 mm and the twist-lock mechanism and forks are attached to the swivel ring with a spot weld.
