The 150 mm nylon heavy-duty castor from Interwiel is composed of a sturdy welded steel fork combined with a robust polyamide wheel. These steel welded swivel casters are ideal for situations with an increased risk of collisions with forklift trucks or in very demanding circumstances where reliability is essential, combined with a long lifespan.

The steel welded swivel fork is equipped with an 8 mm mounting plate, above which an axial pivot bearing works together with a tapered roller bearing as a turntable. The underside of the turntable is firmly screwed to the mounting plate and securely locked with a spot weld. The slewing ring is sealed and remains lubricated throughout its entire lifespan; it can be re-lubricated if necessary. The welding of the fork legs to the slewing ring makes the swivel castor very resistant to lateral shocks. In addition, the swivel forks are yellow passivated, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance.

The precision injection-molded polyamide wheel has no air bubbles or uneven material distribution, resulting in a wheel with a high load capacity and excellent impact and shock resistance. The heavy-duty wheels are equipped with double precision ball bearings, giving them low rolling resistance and a smooth rolling experience on flat surfaces.
