Heavy-duty nylon swivel castor with brake 150 mm - 800 kg

The 150 mm swivel castor with brake consists of an extremely solid welded steel fork, joined to a robust polyamide wheel. These welded steel swivel castors are particularly useful in environments where there is a high risk of collisions with forklift trucks or in very rough conditions where minimum failure and a long lifespan are essential. The swivel fork is equipped with a forward brake that simultaneously blocks both the swivel and the wheel. This forward brake ensures that the brake is always in the same direction as the direction of movement of the application.

The steel welded swivel fork is equipped with an 8 mm mounting plate with an axial pivot bearing underneath that functions as a turntable in combination with a tapered roller bearing. The underside of the turntable is screwed three times to the mounting plate and securely locked with a spot weld. The turntable is sealed and lubricated for its entire lifespan, but can be re-lubricated if necessary. Thanks to the fixed welding of the gaff legs to the turntable, the castor is highly resistant to lateral shocks. In addition, the swivel forks are yellow passivated, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance.

The polyamide wheel is precision injection molded without air bubbles or uneven material distribution, giving the wheels a high load capacity combined with exceptional impact and shock resistance. The heavy swivel casters with brakes are equipped with double precision ball bearings, which results in low impact resistance and smooth rolling on flat surfaces.
