Thanks to the camber of the tread, this wheel turns 20% lighter and with less rolling resistance than flat alternatives. This requires less effort, even under heavy loads. This makes the wheel ideal for applications that are used regularly and where minimal physical effort is desired.

The polyurethane tread is known for its durability, low rolling resistance, and quiet running. This material is also gentle on industrial floors such as concrete, epoxy, and tile, and is ideal for use in production environments, logistics centers, workshops, and on transport carts.

Intensive industrial use

The swivel fork of this wheel is extra reinforced and designed for long-term and heavy industrial use. In combination with the thick, ergonomically shaped polyurethane tire, the wheel offers maximum stability and shock absorption – even under high loads and constant vibration or lateral forces.

The swivel head is equipped with a double, hardened ball track that ensures smooth and stable swiveling, even under harsh conditions. The multi-riveted construction keeps the swivel fork firmly in place – without play, even after prolonged intensive use.

Optional: directional lock

This 160 mm swivel castor can be equipped with a directional lock, which temporarily blocks the swivel function. This allows the wheel to move straight ahead, similar to a fixed wheel. The lock is mounted under the top plate and can be easily pressed in with the foot. As soon as the trolley starts moving, the mechanism locks automatically – regardless of the position of the swivel head – for straight-ahead travel.
