Polyurethane, steel-welded castor 200 mm - 1000 kg

The 200 mm castor consists of a very sturdy steel welded fork combined with a robust cast iron polyurethane wheel. The steel welded swivel casters are particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications on uneven surfaces, where there is a high risk of collision with forklifts or in very robust conditions where the risk of failure must be zero.

The steel welded swivel fork consists of an 8 mm mounting plate, under which an axial pivot bearing in combination with a tapered bearing functions as a turntable. The underside of the turntable is bolted to the mounting plate three times and securely locked with a spot weld. The turntable is covered and lubricated for its entire lifespan, but can be re-lubricated if necessary. Because the forks are welded to the turntable, the castor is very resistant to lateral shocks. The swivel forks are also yellow passivated, which results in good corrosion resistance.

The wheel consists of a vulcanized polyurethane tire that is firmly chemically bonded to the cast iron rim. The polyurethane tire is highly resistant to cracks and notches. The heavy-duty casters have double precision ball bearings, which, in combination with the polyurethane, create a relatively low rolling resistance and high rolling continuity.
