Resistant to shocks and impacts

The reinforced swivel fork, combined with a thick polyurethane tire, is designed for intensive use of swivel casters. The heavy-duty swivel casters with brakes are perfect for heavy-duty transport carts that must be able to withstand shock loads and side impacts. The swivel fork has a double hardened ball track, securely riveted at multiple points, ensuring play-free operation. The swivel castor has a forward brake that locks both the wheel and the swivel head simultaneously without play.

Forward brake

Unlike conventional swivel castors, the yellow zinc-plated brake is located on the opposite side of the swivel fork. When the application moves forward, the brake moves forward with it. This means that there is no protruding brake on the push side of the transport trolley, which prevents accidents to the shin. The brake is adjustable and locks both the wheel and the fork simultaneously without play.

Wear-resistant and durable

The polyurethane tire is highly resistant to rough concrete floors with steel chips, dust, oil, and other contaminants. Polyurethane is both hard and elastic, resulting in minimal wear when rubbing against and coming into contact with rough surfaces. The reinforced 8 mm thick swivel ring is well lubricated and can be relubricated via the grease nipple. The thickened swivel ring is almost completely sealed and is additionally protected against dust and dirt by a red dust ring.

Low rolling resistance

The natural properties of polyurethane result in low friction with the ground, which results in low starting resistance and long rolling continuity. The wheels are equipped with a precision ball bearing (6204 ZZ) on both sides.

Optional: Directional lock

The swivel castors with forward brake can be equipped with a directional lock. This can be ordered as an option if you want to be able to lock the swivel function and change it to one direction, similar to a fixed castor. The directional lock is mounted under the top plate and can be operated with the foot. When the directional lock is pressed and the application is moved, the mechanism automatically locks, regardless of the position of the swivel fork.
