Resistant to shocks and impacts

The reinforced swivel fork in combination with a thick polyurethane tire is designed for intensive use of casters. These heavy-duty casters are ideal for transport carts that are heavily loaded and exposed to shock loads and side impacts. The swivel fork has a double hardened ball race, firmly riveted at multiple points, and therefore has no play.

Wear-resistant and long lifespan

The polyurethane tire is resistant to rough concrete floors with steel shavings, dust, oil and other contaminants. Polyurethane is relatively hard but also elastic, which means it hardly wears at all when subjected to friction and contact with rough surfaces. The reinforced slewing ring is well lubricated and can be re-lubricated via the grease nipple. The thickened slewing ring is almost completely sealed and has a red dust ring as extra protection against dust and dirt.

Low rolling resistance

Thanks to the natural properties of polyurethane, there is little friction with the surface, resulting in low rolling resistance and long rolling continuity. The wheels have a precision ball bearing (6204 ZZ) on both sides.

Optional: directional lock

The heavy-duty castors can be secured with a directional lock. You can order this as an option if you want to be able to block the swivel function and change it to a fixed position, like a fixed castor. The directional lock is mounted under the top plate and can be operated with the foot. If the direction retainer is pressed and the application is moved, the mechanism automatically clamps in regardless of the position of the swivel fork.
