A ball cage with flange attachment, also known as a UFO or Saturn ball cage, consists of a galvanised pressed steel housing and a stainless steel ball. For humid environments, a steel ball cage with a stainless steel ball roller is a less expensive solution than a fully stainless steel housing. The stainless steel ball roller prevents rust from being transferred to the object being conveyed in the event of direct contact. The built-in ball rolls on several supporting balls to create low friction. There is a drain hole for dirt under the housing. Suitable for radial and axial transport up to ½ m/s.

The minimum clearance is calculated by dividing the shortest length of the object to be transported by 3.5.
