This narrow pneumatic tyre wheel is often used under serving trolleys, industrial equipment and catering applications. The swivel castor with brake can be used for applications that are moved on rough surfaces. For flat surfaces, the pneumatic tyre provides an enormous amount of cushioning to move goods, crockery or other cargo relatively silently. In addition, the pneumatic tyre is equipped with two precision ball bearings that create a very low rolling and impact resistance.

Possible maintenance

The biggest disadvantage of pneumatic tyres is that they deflate or even get a puncture after a while. For a long lifespan, it is important that the load capacity of 50 kg is not exceeded and that the pneumatic tyres are inflated regularly. A possible maintenance-free option is elastic rubber, but this does not have the same cushioning as a pneumatic tyre.

In addition, the swivel fork is completely maintenance-free. The swivel head is firmly riveted and has minimal play. The galvanised swivel fork has a double ball race that is almost completely sealed and lubricated for its entire lifespan. The plastic brake simultaneously blocks the slewing ring and the wheel without play. The brake has a rubber part that absorbs the force during braking, preventing wear and tear on the brake.
